Rover teleoperation

Drive a lunar rover with delayed commands and camera feedback, then try assistance from CHARON.

Teleoperation

This demo delays commands by 1.2 seconds and camera feedback by another 1.2 seconds to represent Earth–Moon signal travel. You see a response 2.4 seconds after pressing or releasing a key. Use the three camera views to follow ten checkpoints around the test range. Stay inside the yellow perimeter: your scored time runs twice as fast outside it.

Scored time starts when you connect and ends at the last checkpoint. Outside the yellow line, it advances at 2×; driving speed and signal delay stay the same. ★★★★★ ≤ 80 s · ★★★★ ≤ 110 s · ★★★ ≤ 150 s · ★★ ≤ 210 s · ★ for completing the course. Leaving the tab ends your attempt.
